The semiconductor testing solution provider Spirox (3055) and the emerging digital optical brand Southport Corporation announced the expansion of cooperation, and joined hands with Scube to jointly build the ＂Advanced Optical Material Testing Laboratory＂, which will be officially opened in Linkou in February 2023. The first phase is to provide non-destructive three-dimensional material defect inspection and three-dimensional stress inspection and analysis services for compound semiconductors, In the future, we will gradually expand the optical inspection and analysis energy of perovskite, two-dimensional materials, MicroLED and other materials and biomedical fields. With the rapid development of industrial technology, the challenges of semiconductor manufacturing process and material technology development are increasing day by day.
In particular, the research and development of new materials and new manufacturing processes need the matching of timely and corresponding new detection technologies in order to accelerate the process development and verify the effectiveness of the introduction, and promote the continuous growth of the industry. In addition, the current research environment is also difficult to innovate, speed and improve the quality of research work due to various factors, such as the increasing threshold and requirements of government subsidies, the declining resource allocation and the quality and quantity of graduate students, and many constraints on the acquisition of common instrument equipment resources.
